It all
seemed so simple. Invent a better boot, manufacture a better boot and sell a
better boot. And that's pretty much the way it started. In 1978 AXO was
born. Andre Malherbe was the preeminent rider at the time and a boot was
designed to match his fluid and demanding style. Brad Lackey also tested and
developed boots in the early days. AXO never took the easy road. By looking
at every aspect of the construction of a boot it was easy to make the
decision build a better buckle, or use heavier threads or even mold plastics
for shin plates. The AXO brand started to grow boot by boot and soon became
a leader in design and function and found it?s way on many World Champions
in all aspects of off road racing. |
